GUEST SPEAKER:

Frank Cotignola

Kraft Foods

Frank Cotignola is the Consumer Insights Manager, CIS Center of Excellence, Knowledge Management at Kraft Foods, where he leads the group's Knowledge Management and social media listening/consulting efforts. Frank helped develop the Community Intelligence Portal, which is the largest site of its type at Kraft Foods. He also authors "Randomness," which is the top blog at the company. His efforts to develop both free and paid (with NetBase, Radian6, and MotiveQuest) listening platforms and insights have led to the integration and usage of such research into traditional "asking" research and shopper insights. Frank has 19+ years of analytic research experience across a number of well-known suppliers and manufacturers. He recently presented "Listening with a Mix of Free and Paid Tools," at the ARF University Social Media Bootcamp.

Liberty Science Center is located in historic Liberty State Park, neighboring the Statue of Liberty and across the river from Lower Manhattan.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From Manhattan or traveling west:
Take the Holland Tunnel to the first exit on the NJ Turnpike, Exit 14B. After the toll, bear left, go down the hill and around the traffic circle to the left. Cross the railroad tracks and you'll see us. Turn left onto Jersey City Boulevard to enter the parking lot. Travel time from the Turnpike exit: 3-4 minutes.

From all other points: 
Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 14C, staying in right-hand lanes at the toll. The exit to Liberty State Park is immediately after the toll. Take the first right onto Jersey City Boulevard, then make an immediate left to enter the parking lot. Travel time from the Turnpike exit: under 2 minutes.

From Staten Island
Take the Goethals Bridge to the NJ Turnpike North. Follow signs to Exit 14C, staying in right-hand lanes at the toll, then follow directions from North, South, East or West.


ATTENTION GPS USERS

It may be necessary to use our former address (251 Phillip Street, Jersey City, NJ) when programming your GPS. Though our facility has not moved, the address has changed.


Parking Information

Liberty Science Center's parking lot is owned by the State of New Jersey and operated by Central Parking. It can accommodate 750 cars and overflow parking is available right around the corner.  Fees are $7.00 per day for cars and vans. See the note about Liberty State Park parking, below.

The parking lot is staffed only during operational hours. We do not recommend leaving your vehicle after hours.
